A Great September

This month was very special for this project. As you know, we've been working to improve our computer lab, and we received help from Two Rivers Church, Carolyn Sperman, and the Sunrise Rotary Club in Canada — we finally got it all set up. We had to build the space, buy computers and desks, get high-speed internet, and get it all working — we had just one week to finish.

We also received a donation from Food for the Hungry, giving every kid a hygiene bag with everything they need.

And we're still keeping up with breakfast and our painting class.

We had a wonderful retreat for all our members — about an 8-hour drive to a Christian camp on the Caribbean coast, but it was a wonderful, blessed time. God was gracious to us, and we had a perfect time enjoying His will and His wonderful creation.

One person we especially want to lift up is Koki, one of the most important people God has brought into this work — we invited him to come with his wife, and we're praying God does His will in his life. Please pray for him.

We finished the classroom area on the second floor — we just need to finish the restroom area, and we're working on that now.

We'll be inaugurating the King Express neighborhood on October 23rd — the finish line of one of our biggest projects this year. If you'd like to come, you're welcome.

A church in Portland, Maine invited me to come share some of our projects with them, and I'll be there from tomorrow, 9/20, until 10/4 — another friend invited me to join them there too: Dr. Douglas Brown, Pastor Dorian Wayne, Ralph Merrill, and my host, Sean Flaters. Please pray this trip brings Fabiola and me new energy, and more help for this ministry God has given us.
